Carolyn Ann Smith, affectionately known as Mrs. Carol, is the heart and soul behind Joy Home Health. Born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, in 1956, Mrs. Carol has spent her life leaving a positive mark on the community. Her passion for serving others was evident from an early age, and she has dedicated her career to working with the Elderly & Disabled.

Her journey took a challenging turn in 2014 when her husband of 40 years fell ill. Faced with this personal hardship, Mrs. Carol retired from her role to care for him full-time. Despite the immense toll this period took on her, she continued to embody resilience and dedication. After her husband's passing in late 2015, Mrs. Carol channeled her grief into a renewed commitment to Home Health.

Determined to extend her reach and impact, she founded Joy Home Health in 2018. Through this venture, Mrs. Carol has continued her lifelong mission of caring for seniors and the disabled improving their quality of life. Her unwavering compassion and dedication serve as an inspiration to all who know her, as she continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals in her community.

Jarez Moore
Founder of Joy In Home Services

Jarez established Joy In Home Services in 2020, driven by his deep commitment to serving clients and employees. Known for his compassionate and dedicated approach, Jarez leaves a positive impact on everyone he interacts with. His reputation for service and helping others was cultivated during his many years working at DePaul Hospital, where he was encouraged to extend his reach in the community.

In 2023, Jarez founded the Community Care Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the homeless and less fortunate. His efforts have made a significant difference in the lives of many. Currently, Jarez is furthering his education to become a Respiratory Therapist, a testament to his dedication to the well-being of others.

Jarez began Joy In Home Services with just five clients, and through his keen business sense and heartfelt commitment to the elderly and disabled, he has grown the organization to serve over 200 clients. His leadership and compassion continue to inspire and uplift those around him.
